Bundle Item Options
1. Burner
The Original Crossfire Burner comes in a range of sizes, from 60K BTU (7.5x7.5-inch) to 450K BTU (46x46-inch), offering plenty of options to fit your needs.
2. Plate Or Pan
Plates and pans are available in square or circular designs, made from durable tempered aluminum. They feature precisely cut weep holes for drainage and are offered in 1/8" or 3/16” thickness. Each includes a central gas inlet opening. The size you choose depends on the dimensions of your fire pit opening.
3. Flex Line & Key Valve Kit
Choose between two Flex Line & Key Valve Kits based on your burner's BTU:
- FK1 – For burners under 249K BTU
- FK2 – For burners over 249K BTU
4. Ignition Type
There are four main ignition options:
- Match Light Ignition – Open the gas valve and light it with a match or lighter. This is the default ignition system.
- Push Button Spark Ignition – Like a grill starter, open the valve and push the ignitor button. No need for matches or lighters.
- Push Button Spark with Flame Sense – Adds a safety feature that shuts off gas if the flame goes out. No external power is required.
- Electronic Ignition – Allows remote on/off operation with flame sensing for added safety. External power may be required for higher BTU burners.
5. Venting
For proper ventilation, it’s recommended to have two 18-square-inch vents on opposite sides of the fire pit. Some variation is common, but adequate venting is essential for airflow and safety.
6. Installation Collars
To support the plate, install collars about 4-5 inches below the top of the fire pit. While bricks or cinder blocks can work, support collars are designed specifically to act as shelves for the plate.
7. Cover
Protect your fire pit with a cover to prevent damage from the elements. Aluminum covers are available, but even a tarp works in a pinch. For sizing, choose a cover with a 1-inch lip around the edge (e.g., a 34" cover for a 32" opening)

Warming Trends warrants that each Warming Trends CROSSFIRE and other jetted-flame-brass-burners is free from defects in materials and workmanship and conforms to its specifications, which are available upon request. The warranty period for a Burner is lifetime warranty beginning on the date of purchase. During the Warranty Period, Warming Trends provides repair and exchange services for the Burners, without charge. Labor not included.
