1. Burner
The Double Tree-Style Crossfire Burner comes in a variety of sizes, ranging from a 160K BTU, 15.75x11.25-inch burner to a 480K BTU, 53x11.5-inch model, offering excellent versatility for your fire pit setup.

2. Plate Or Pan
Available in square and circular shapes, our plates and pans are crafted from high-quality tempered aluminum. They feature carefully cut weep holes for proper drainage and are available in either 1/8" or 3/16” thickness. Each plate or pan comes with a central gas inlet opening. The size you choose will depend on your fire pit’s opening.

3. Flex Line & Key Valve Kit 
Choose between two Flex Line & Key Valve Kit options based on your burner’s BTU rating:

• FK1: For burners up to 249K BTU
• FK2: For burners above 249K BTU

4. Ignition Type
There are four primary ignition system options:

• Match Light Ignition: The simplest option, where you open the gas valve and light the burner with a lighter or long match. This is the default setting for your fire pit.
• Push Button Spark Ignition: Similar to igniting a grill, you open the gas valve and press the button to ignite the burner. This system is perfect if you want to avoid using a match or lighter.
• Push Button Spark Ignition with Flame Sense: This system includes a Flame Sensing Sensor that automatically shuts off the gas if the flame is extinguished unexpectedly. No external power is required.
• Electronic Ignition: The top-tier ignition system, allowing you to turn your fire pit on or off with the push of a button. It also features a flame-sensing safety function. Depending on the BTU of your burner, you may need to connect this system to an external power source.

5. Venting
While not mandatory, two 18 square-inch vents on opposite sides are recommended for proper cross ventilation. Though 18 square inches isn't a strict requirement, some form of venting is essential for optimal performance.

6. Installation Collars
The plate sits about 4-5 inches below the top of the fire pit and requires support. Some people use bricks or cinder blocks to hold the plate, but we recommend using support collars. These act as a stable shelf to secure the plate in place.

7. Cover
To protect your fire pit from the elements, we always recommend using a cover. Even a simple tarp can help prevent debris from entering the burner. If you won’t be using the fire pit for an extended period, a cover is especially important. Warming Trends offers durable aluminum covers. For sizing, ensure a 1-inch lip around the fire pit. For example, if your fire pit opening is 32 inches, a 34-inch cover will fit perfectly.

Warming Trends warrants that each Warming Trends CROSSFIRE and other jetted-flame-brass-burners is free from defects in materials and workmanship and conforms to its specifications, which are available upon request. The warranty period for a Burner is lifetime warranty beginning on the date of purchase. During the Warranty Period, Warming Trends provides repair and exchange services for the Burners, without charge. Labor not included.
