Bundle Item Options
1. Burner
The Square Tree-Style Crossfire Burner is available in standard sizes ranging from 120K BTU (10x11.25 inches) to 500K BTU (31.25x30.5 inches).
2. Plate Or Pan
Plates and pans are crafted from tempered aluminum and come in square or circular shapes. They feature precision-cut weep holes for drainage and a central gas inlet opening. Available in 1/8-inch or 3/16-inch thickness, the size depends on your fire pit’s opening.
3. Flex Line & Key Valve Kit
Choose the appropriate Flex Line & Key Valve Kit based on your burner’s BTU rating:
- FK1: For burners under 249K BTU
- FK2: For burners over 249K BTU
4. Ignition Types
Choose from four ignition systems for your fire pit:
- Match Light Ignition: Open the gas valve and light the burner with a match or lighter. This is the default system.
- Push Button Spark Ignition: Open the gas valve and press the ignitor button—no lighter or match required.
- Push Button Spark Ignition with Flame Sense: Includes a flame-sensing safety feature that shuts off the gas if the flame goes out. Does not require external power.
- Electronic Ignition: A premium system that allows you to turn the fire pit on or off with a button. It includes a flame-sensing safety feature. Some models may require external power depending on the burner’s BTU rating.
5. Venting
It is recommended to have two 18-square-inch vents on opposite sides for proper cross ventilation. While smaller vents are possible, adequate venting is essential for safety.
6. Installation Collars
The plate should sit 4–5 inches below the fire pit’s top edge. Support options include stacked bricks, cinder blocks, or specialized support collars that act as shelves for the plate.
7. Cover
Always cover your fire pit to protect it from outdoor elements. Warming Trends offers durable aluminum covers sized to leave a 1-inch lip around the fire pit opening. For example, a 32-inch opening requires a 34-inch cover. A tarp can also be used if needed.

Warming Trends warrants that each Warming Trends CROSSFIRE and other jetted-flame-brass-burners is free from defects in materials and workmanship and conforms to its specifications, which are available upon request. The warranty period for a Burner is lifetime warranty beginning on the date of purchase. During the Warranty Period, Warming Trends provides repair and exchange services for the Burners, without charge. Labor not included.
